What a great weekend for tracking, weather wise here in the Midwest. It was sunny and hot Saturday and Sunday. I came into Gridlife thinking I could run a 1:38 which is 6 seconds quicker then my previous personal best.
When you prepare a goal you can reach it! I did to get in the mid 1:38s each lap in my last session. I also learned that without a splitter my turn in sucks, but everywhere else the car feels great!
I ended up in second in street RWD and 14th overall!!!
Monday I headed to black hawk farms for another track day with GPS track time. It was pouring rain on the way there and I actually had to pull over when my car shut up from trying to compress too much water.
When I arrived there I ran two sessions which were both faster than my previous time there to my surprise then I started feeling my pedal go to the floor on each corner, well you guess it I broke a brake line. Then I spent an hour or so trying to fix it. A 07 Honda odyssey brake line is the same for s2000 just a we bit longer FYI.
I ran a 1:21 but I still left some out there so I can't wait to go back!
